For Group Leaders, Parents & Children

We want to make organising a visit to us as easy as possible. The following pages aim to give you all the help, advice and guidance you need to prepare for a visit, whether you are a group leader, parent, child or student.

Delivering high quality residential experiences to school groups is a collaborative process. We work closely with colleagues from school who bring groups away to us. We are indebted to these dedicated staff, assistants and volunteers, who are prepared to give up a lot of their own time to plan, organise and bring away groups of children. They are rewarded by watching the children grow and develop in front of their eyes, with stronger bonds built between children and adults and the increased motivation to learn that the children carry back with them on return to school. Nevertheless there is no statutory requirement to provide residential experiences for children and we never take for granted the commitment of this group of staff.
