Open Canoe
Open canoes or Canadian canoes are boats capable of carrying more than one person and any equipment you need. This makes them the ideal craft for journeys. At Lledr Hall we use canoes on our own pool in the River Lledr, on the local lakes and down the rivers and estuaries of North Wales.
For introductory sessions we sometimes attach two canoes together to create a raft. This makes the boats really stable in the water ideal for playing games or for those people who want to avoid capsizing the boat.
